I've been on-board with this thing since # 26. Unfortunately I've always been to busy to dig in and be a regular. Since this board has been rebooted I thought that maybe this is an opportunity to dig in and enjoy the dripping abscess that is the SWARM. A bit of bio on me: I've worked trauma/ER long enough to lose all faith in humanity. I bailed from that deal and now work in bioanalytical chemistry. I haven't had time to fuck around with avatars and that bullshit but maybe I'll get there in the future. I'm glad to see that some of the regulars are still here. I look forward to the hazing so bring it on.

Um. Ha ha, gee, that certainly is an amusing fictional story there, being absolutely and completely made up with no truth to it whatsoever, because things like that do not happen. I say this as a woman who is going to have surgery next month and has no wish to be raped while under anesthesia.

Sorry, just the facts and not fictional at all. Belive it or not things get boring after a while and you need something to break the monotony. I've done hundreds of ER or outpatient procedures using "semi concious sedation". Believe me after 100mg of IV Demerol or 200ug of IV fentanyl combined with 5 mg of Versed you could have given an elephant a blow job and never had a clue. I don't know that I'd call it "rape" as it was only a quick digital survey to add to the database. Besides after I just got done shoving 5 feet of colonoscope up their ass does it really matter anyway? So...the good news for you is that this type of thing generally never happens in the OR. Way to many folks running around and you're generally to busy anyway. Good luck with the surgery and if your at a reputable institution all will be well. So, you're saying that because they were knocked out, it was okay? Would it be okay to finger a toddler because they probably wouldn't remember it later? Would it have gotten you punched in the fucking face had you tried it on a conscious woman? Then it's probably not okay on an anaesthetized woman, either. Rape is forcible sexual relations against that person's will. Check, check, and check, friendo. If the police knew about it, it's to prison you'd be goin', and getting a bit of your own back. I can't presume to know the mind of the drugmongering whore, but I have a feeling all this is not exactly what she was getting at.

I don't believe the point of S&W, and by extension its forum, is to glorify violence. It's more of a coping mechanism, and what you did doesn't deserve glory.
