Oh dear........ There really should be a test, nothing overly taxing, just a base level assessment. If they fail, a surge of electricity from Bester central fries the keyboard and hard drive of the offending halfwit (a kind of virtual Russian roulette). If they happen to be in contact with the keyboard at the time, ho hum, such is life..... Or death, to be more accurate.
Something along the lines of say, being able to spell verge, an understanding of what capital letters are for and a brief vocabulary test.
