At the end of episode 269, I mentioned my upcoming visit to London next month. I'm heading to Berlin first but will be in London the night of April 18th. It's a Monday night so there probably won't be too much going on. However, if any of you Limeys want to meet up for a beer, let me know some good pubs or clubs to visit.

I'm staying at some hotel near Heathrow because my flight leaves early Tuesday morning. I'm planning to head into London Monday afternoon and then stay out till bars close. What time do the pubs close in London?

If you plan it right you can drink 24 hours a day. And thats why I love it. There is a pub near Liverpool street train station that opens at 3am till noon. From there ever where is open. whimpering toothless chav dont come over and surprise Dee we dont let cunts in. We are bloody good at growing our own.
You may as well check out Camden, theres decent bars and the market, when I lived there all those moons ago I used to frequent the Camden Falcon, all the indie bands featured in the music press played there, lots of sexy young chicks, a short walk up the road is Kentish town where the Bull and Gate venue is/was. Theres also Underworld in Camden, great club/venue. I used to like hitting the West End, lots of famous rock venues such as the world famous Marquee, I have delivered coke to the Marquee, sat in the grotty booth over looking the stage snorting rails of coke with my dealer mate ned, eyeballing the roadies sat behind the speaker stacks as they tuned the guitars. Round the back is a late night bar attached to the venue, used to see the likes of lemmy in there back in the day. Theres a humble little Italian cafe in the westend, its so long ago the name and exact location escape me. If its still there, befriend the owner and he will give you the location of a few uber cool back street illegal drinking dens, knock on the door a hatch opens, tell em who sent you and your in. Spanish chicks dancing on the tables, cheap wine and mega friendly people. Brixton is worth a visit but mainly on a sunny weekend, Brixton fridge is a great venue, lots of Irish dive bars. Its probably a shadow of the place it was though, electric avenue and the frontline where bursting with life, billowing clouds of weed, music and food being cooked outside everywhere, I bet its a homogenised yuppy haven by now. I will call a few mates in the smoke and see if I can find out whats going on dee, wouldnt want you missing out.

YEAH! pretentious middle class cunts who think they're cool right before they get jacked by a couple rude boys from the manor. I went to school there many moons ago. The place definitly isn't what it used to be. But dee, i do suggest you visit the Flying Scotsman in kings cross as mentioned by a listener. As someone who worked in a strip joint this is a must see. One word of advice though. When they come around with the pint glass collecting money do a sly turn to the bar and let some other mug pay for that shit.
