its a Shetland tradition where every year we prance around in fancy dress wasted while vikings march around with fire on a stick and burn a Gally(a boat in the shape of a dragon or what not.) to the mother-fucking ground.

its usually the last Tuesday of January. hence transvestite Tuesday, as a lot of the costumes is men dressed as women.

its pretty wicked, unless you're a local and have been every year of your life for 18 years. Then its pretty boring.
