Skrillex are fun...saw them over the summer. Still fairly new to the field of dub but it never ceases to make me go nuts on a dancefloor.
This mix always tickles me;

Seeing 16-bit live is probably the smartest decision I've ever made when it comes to music. Then there's Cyperoptics - I'm not sure how he came up with this one:
I'm a friendly fascist and a tyrant you should trust.
I want to party with this guy!
It was good in the latest podcast Dee went on about how shit dubstep is and how shit skrillex is. I look at Dee with much more respect now. I'm sure he knew that most of the fail whores on the forum liked dub step but he still said it because he thinks its so shit.
Dubstep has really surged in popularity, leading to everyone trying to make it. However, most people think that you can take any sound, remix it to a 140BPM rythm, add some wub noises and it's officially a song. Which is why 90% of Dubstep is shite. But there is a fair bit of good dubstep out there. Y'know when an artist actually puts some effort in.
The same is spreading to the rest of electronic music too, with Drumstep, House, Breakbeat, Drum + bass and 100BPM, all being polluted with everyone's attempts. For some reason people think that electronic music is unlike all the other genres and that people appreciate any shit you put up. That'd be like me playing some very basic power chords on the guitar and putting it out as an official song.
