Have I heard of Skyrim?



Did you think those 150 hours of my life just vanished?

Did you play any other of the Elder Scrolls?

I personally thought Skyrim was a bit of a disapointment after Morrowind and Oblivion. They were such good games, I felt that Skyrim concentrated to much on the game mechanics and left the story lacking towards the end.

Morrowind can't be topped. Skyrim is a joke compared to it.

I'm thinking of replaying morrowin with new high res texture packs, models etc. It looks quite good.

Fallout 1 and 2 were way before Morrowind, so don't say you were too busy with those. And yes, Fallout 1&2 are 10 times greater than Morrowind, but still.

Nah, he's a student, he'll be referring to Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Never played 1 & 2, they look VERY aged though, not sure if I could go back and play them.

I've only played two, is one wroth playing? I found myself looking at walkthroughs while playing though the 2nd one because it holds your hand about 100 times less than fallout 3, oblivion or skyrim. Thinking about either restarting fallout 2 or finally playing fallout 1.

Well no, they're isometric. And the sprites are good. So just install Fallout 2, the latest patch, then the resolution mod (which allows you to set your native resolution instead of the old resolutions that were used back in the days), and you're good to go. No additional mods necessary, the game is perfect the way it is.

It's an old game and people used to have more patience back in the days, especially when they didn't have internets. So you gotta give it time. But it's considered the best RPG ever in the universe by most people.
