Dam it, you guys are sooo cool. What an awesome thing to behold. Graphics that look like something from an old Spectrum and an end result that's just plain shite. I don't see the point? Just buy some lego and make something interesting. Or get a job in CAD where you can make decent looking things for an actual reason. I might be missing the point, if so I'm happy to hear the argument but I just don't get it at all!

If it were up to me I would not manually interfere, but focus on creating algorithms and see a universe develop throw procedural generation. But thanks for asking.
