Well, thanks a lot for ruining any perspective of presenting the series in a good light.
It's actually not bad. The trailer urineman posted is total trash. The Borgias are very well budgeted. It's about political plots and shit, kind of like "Rome", but in a different time. It tries to be epic, which is good, but at the same time tries to please the women audience by adding some sentimental shit. Unfortunately, most, if not all series do that nowadays. Even Battlestar Galactica did it to some extent and Dexter did it a LOT. Star Trek (1969) didn't do it, but those times are long gone. Women can vote now. Pfeh. Enjoy the consequences.
Still I recommend to have a go at the first episode to see if you like it.
The opening credits are pretty good. This usually shows how much money the put into the show.

Shows pretty good. I think the only thing that would make it better would be some incest between Lucretcia and Cesare.
The only thing that would make it better would be removing all female characters and the sentimental bullshit.

Remember that huge subplot where the chick was getting married and it was a huge deal that her mother isn't allowed to be at the wedding? And all the tears and shit, everybody begging the pope to allow the bride's mother to the wedding and then there's the wedding and they show the mother who's sad, crying, sad music blah blah blah, the bride is almost crying cause her mommy isn't there.............

Just watched the last episode. Its getting gratuitous. Hes having sex with her, shes having sex with him, hes having sex with that one, shes doing this guy... and the french king is ugly.
What a waste of time. And to think I waited an extra week to watch it.
I stopped watching an episode ago. But the Thrones are getting way better and better with every episode.

I watched a few episodes of the Borgias, i like it so far, but ya Game of Thrones good and Getting Much better, I haven't read the books that it's based on but just from the first few episodes it makes me wanna read them.
