    How do the media decide?

There is a young woman who has been murdered in England over Christmas in Bristol. The media have gone into overload reporting on it.

It all started off with her going missing. This also included a massive media coverage. Obviously this a good thing (the media coverage, not the murder), as it's real news and is it may help the case/search.

I just wonder how the media pick this missing story over all the others. There are loads of people going missing each day, and many murders, so why do they gravitate to this story rather than some of the others? Same with Madaline McCann.

Was the girl both attractive and white? Those are the only reasons the us media get in a tizzy over a missing girl.

hmmph tried to refute this but got nothin' ! I was addicted to Nancy Grace and all her missing person stories thinking I could think back to at least one that was a nigger woman and all I thought of was the nigger coed that was raped at an Ivy League campus...turns out she was a liar and a ho, so the media spun it.

She is White, which I thought maybe one reason. She isn't fit, but not really ugly.

She also look slightly middle class.

White, middle class, young, decent looking (depending on your standards). This must be the tick list. Pretty shit really.

Maybe theres something about her that the media thought they could get more sympathy from everyone who hears about the story than someone who was just a regular person with nothing wrong with them physically or mentally.
