It's been on tv in the U.S. on the IFC (Independent Film Channel). I thought it was amusing, however the Canuck show that Wackerle recommended a while back called 'The Kids in the Hall: Death comes to town' was definitively more amusing.

League of Gentlemen was amusing, but hardly original, the idea of having a repertory of men play all the parts male and female in a variety of skits goes back to the original Kids in the Hall (or maybe I'm thinking Shakespeare).
I did end up buying off itunes several episodes of Death comes to town when I missed several episodes.
I watched the Margaret Todd series when it came out here last month. IFC is still running re-runs so folks can catch it.
Bah! Shakespeaer was the biggest cunt of all! Bald headed prick. Anyway, it wasnt the crossdressing I was reffering to, it was the fact it was set in an isolated town where all the inhabitants are grotesque and sinister and the humour is very very nigger, even the guy on the chopper has overtones of Bab the taxi driver plus part of the story is centered around the morgue. I only saw a short clip, I think I will watch more and see if there are any closer similarities the BBC should be aware of.
