There are does who believe that legalizing drugs will stop drug related criminal activity. Now this might be right, but it wont stop crime stupid. Most organized crimes centers around drugs. The argument is that to destroy organize crime you must destroy its profit base. Yeah, I understand that argument but we're not legalizing cocaine and heroin and all that other shit that comes directly from Mexico. We're legalizing pot in order to generate more taxable revenue for our on country. Theres an added benefit that in the US when a highschool kid is caught with a dime bag hes not going to go away to jail for five years thereby reducing prison populations of nonviolent crimes. When you say legalizing drugs wont stop crime, youre absolutely wrong. Think about it. If all drugs were legal. All of them, what would sweat reeking spic traffikers have to workky about? Not dealing illegal drugs, but crossing the border illegally with sex slaves and harvested organs. The rate of crime would still go down.
