I live in the South so I know a thing or two about trucks. Why do you want a mid-sized truck? They are worthless. They don't have a good bed to haul stuff and you can't tow shit with them. If your looking for good gas milage just buy a car. Preferably an asian brand. If your dead set on a truck spend the extra money and get a full sized one. Even a used F-150 or Sliverado would be better. Go with a diesel engine too. They last much longer and get better gas milage. The cost of diesel is up right now but it off sets the cost of repairs you would have to make to a gasoline engine over the long run.
