The Guard (2011) - IMDb is good. Some very good nigger humor mixed with occasional good "boredom" usually present in neo-noirs. The 720p is already on torrents. Watch it.

How cheesy and stupid is this gonna be? I can't tell by the trailer. It may even actually be good.

Besides, Simon Pegg doesn't play in total shit, right? And there's Jeremy Renner. Huh.

They're making a remake of the movie that had a chick with 3 tits. With Colin Farrel instead of Arnie.

A year to go. No trailers yet. Total Recall (2012) - IMDb

A remake of an old western by Tarantino. A year or two to go. No trailer. Django Unchained (2012) - IMDb
Jamie Foxx will be the slave-turned-headhunter, DiCaprio will be the bad guy. Christopher Waltz comes back as a headhunter. Kurt Russel comes back as sadist.

They're making a remake of the Swedish Man som hatar kvinnor (2009) - IMDb which wasn't bad, a decent mystery/thriller.

This time the same thing, but with Daniel Craig - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) - IMDb

    (the original Blomkvist)

They use the same locations and copy the old sets to perfection. Even the camera angles are the same. No original work.

I disagree. I just re-watched the Swedish Dragon Tattoo a couple of nights ago and the locations and sets are similar only in that they both look very stereotypically Swedish. Not sure what you mean about the camera angles being re-hashed either. I'm more worried about the plot. This is America so they're going to wimp out on the sexual violence which was sort of necessary given that it was a way to get the audience on Salander's side given that she's a cipher and an Goth-ed out autistic borderline sociopath. Even in the books, Blomkvist was a wet blanket. If they can't make Salander compelling, American audiences will fall asleep during the long stretch before Salander gets roped into helping the investigation. I haven't seen enough of her performance to judge, but Rooney Mara is a better fit for Salander physically. Noomi Rapace was too broad shouldered and tomboyish for the character but she effectively portrayed the autism and the emotional damage. If Mara doesn't play it right or well enough, her take on the character will come off as pouty and boring.
I have to return some video tapes...

Did you see run, fatboy, run? ya he is in some shit.
I think that if he is going to be in a real action movie though this isn't the one. Im thinking he would be the most bad ass Q of all time. Instead they have this guy for the new bond movie. As for Jeremy Renner, I think he is too serious of an actor opposite the midget with the nice hair.
