Any fans of the album on here?
I've had it for ages but never listened to it. Just did..... wow.
I know a lot of people hate it .... why?! It's a really good album! A couple of weaker tracks, but overall, it's actually really good.
Opinions?

You're entitled to your opinion ..... even if it is fuckin' wrong. Ya fuckin' retard!
I got strangled by Alice Cooper .... bet you didn't ... ya prick! :D
Wasn't that the one that had Tony Martin doing vocals? I think I've heard it a few times, but it's been a while...
On a scale of Jordan to Jewish, how tight are you?
Yeah, that's the one. I hadn't listened to it as I heard how terrible it was. Maybe it wouldn't be as good if I had heard it without so much negativity, but I liked it :0)

It reminds me of when Metallica released St. Anger; that got a bad review, but I thought "to hell with it", gave it a shot, and thought it was pretty OK

St. Anger .... hmmm ... It could've been great. There are some brilliant ideas/riffs/possibilities. Problem is the songs seem to drag for me. Shoot me again, Frantic, Invisible Kid ... they just seem to drag. For me, Bob Rock should have spent more time being a fucking producer instead of pretending to be a member of the band. Shame really.

Cross Purposes is ok, but to me the best no Ozzy Sabbath album is absolutely Born Again with Ian Gillan on vocals. That album scared the shit out of me when I was about ten or eleven. It still kicks ass, and in my opinion is probably the best heavy metal album ever. Tony Martin should be appearing on the new nigger Widow album by the way.

I saw that Sabbath tour with Gillan (believe it or not)
They had the stonehenge set. Spinal tap did a goof on what happened to Sabbath - but the opposite way. In spinal tap, the stonehenge was too small. In reality, they spec'd it out in feet, and it was built in meters. It was so big they could usually only use a couple pieces. It was good show - they did smoke on the water for an encore.
I also saw Sabbath for The Mob Rules tour - that was incredible.
I would love to have seen the Mob Rules tour. Loved Dio! Was just listening to Killing The Dragon earlier. I never got to see Dio live. Had tickets for his last tour, but he cancelled.
Gutted. He still made some of the nest hard rock and metal albums around.

Sabbath toured a few years ago with Dio, Butler, Iomi, and some drummer...maybe one of the Appicies.
I didn't go because I thought it would suck. I saw a DVD of the tour later, and was kicking myself in the ass, they sounded awesome.
Being an old(er) fart here on the forum, I've seen some classic shows:
Van Halen: Women & Children First
Rush: Moving Pictures
Ozzy: Blizzard & Diary
Rainbow, Scorpions, and Riot
Iron Maiden: Powerslave & Somewhere in Time
I had tickets for the Mettalica Master of Puppets tour, but Cliff Burton died before they made it to Syracuse. Now that I think of it, I also had tickets for Diary of a Madman, and then Randy Rhoads died. They played with a different guitar player. Ozzy was soooo drunk.
callmesam: I think I recognize that avatar - thats Klaus Kinski from Aguirre wrath of god, right? That dude was a maniac, as shown by the film "My best friend"

You`re absolutely right. I`ve admired Kinski ever since I saw the movie "Nosferatu" as a kid. He was truly a maniac and a genius. His autobiography "All I need is love" is very interesting by the way. Mostly he tells about fucking.
You`ve certainly seen some great shows.
