Actually I recently discovered twitter. There are many political analysts and organizations in Russia who use twitter and I get half my news from there now. Half things I repost here comes from twitter too. Don't know if you've got anything like that in English though.Originally Posted by Reich

Ya, that brings up a very good point. In my high school education I don't think I ever saw one picture of average people in the USSR or was told how they lived. In college i wouldn't have to take a class in which I would learn about the USSR because my major doesn't require it, so my formal education has literally taught me nothing about the USSR.
