Tim Henson read this on Distorted View, and there was one more line in the story, the best line in my opinion.

One of the neighbors said something to the effect of "I'd be lying if I said I didn't get a little grin when I saw his brains flying out the back of his head".

I had some pretty awful neighbors up until about 6 years ago, I know where he's coming from.
