not cool... and the pic of the dog buried in the ground is horrid. people who do stuff like that to animals should be beaten to within an inch of their lives... then beaten again, then rolled in salt until they beg for the suffering to stop, then just when they think it's all over, somebody should bust out the tar and feathers and go to town on them.

Why do you think!? He took pleasure in inflicting pain towards an animal, then openly admitted he enjoyed it. Sounds sadistic to me...

That's horrible. I think "sadistic" is a fitting description. Perhaps even some psychosis, given his view that "it's only a dog".

Sadism, in my mind (as well as in most dictionaries) is inflicting pain in order to derive sexual pleasure. Getting a good laugh doesn't make you sadistic. Sociopathic and psychotic maybe (but aren't all sociopaths psychotic? That is, don't they all suffer from a psychosis?) I'm going to have to make some research. It's just that I hate when words are thrown around as if they mean something else. It's the bastardization of a language in action.

Granted, sadism is commonly associated with sexual gratification, but it's not limited to that. More generally it is the derivation of pleasure.

Common this and common that. Derivation of pleasure my ass. Were that the case I'd be sadistically devouring this fudge brownie. Alas, I'm only destroying it and eating it greedily.
